The Grand National is still one of the highlights of the UK Sporting Calendar. The Grand National is run at the famous Aintree race course in Liverpool. This years John Smith Grand Nation will be run on 5th April 2008.

The Steeplechase enclosure is open exclusively on Grand National Day only, there is no dress code in this area so is perfect if you want to enjoy the big race in an informal way.

Tattersall’s Enclosure

The Tattersall’s enclosure is the biggest area and has the best atmosphere.

It has the following features:

Aintree Pavilion, A new covered area with bars, live music, bookmkaers and lots of big screens to see the races on.
The famous Aintree Mound where you can see the final fences of the races.
The Parade Ring and Winner’s Enclosure, to see the horses close up before and after the race.
Bars in the Red Rum Garden.
